The original NS-10 was released in 1978 during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audiophile equipment production, but even today, after more than 40 years, these monitors are still found in innumerable studios around the world. The Yamaha NS-10s were used to mix countless classic records, by artists such as Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, and Hall and Oates. The NS-10M features an updated tweeter and crossover. Whether you're looking for extreme precision in the time domain for your mixing or just want to listen to a piece of audiophile history, look no further than the Yamaha NS-10M.</p><p>These particular speakers are in very good condition, with some signs of use (please see photos), some scratches, and some scuffs(Please see photos). There is some peeling of the wood at the corners (please see photos). Age-related discoloration and stains are visible on the spiker cone.
