Bassyaks Kits include a 12 volt battery powered direct drive motor which offers silent operation in both fresh and saltwater. Steering is hands-free with your feet as you would with a rudder. The motor may be raised both vertically and horizontally from the seat, for operating in shallow water or over obstacles, or even clearing the propeller from debris. The motor is removable in 10 seconds for travel or if you just wish to paddle.
Bassyaks offers an Electric Motor System powered by a 12 volt battery for Kayaks with over 80 Kayak Specific models to match your kayak. With "Hands Free" steering with your feet, we give you Instant Steerage in forward and reverse. With our direct drive motors we offer "Silent Operation" in both fresh and Saltwater. The motor may be raised from the seat both vertically and horizontally from the seat, and is removable in 10 seconds. Bassyaks Motor Systems are available in "Do it yourself" kit form or one of our dealers can do the installation for you, or even order a completed Factory Built Bassyak.
